Because normal teams cut bait when when they have a "Joe" at the most important position on the field, even when they use a premium pick. No doubt his injury issues were a concern but but he had a winning record and a 96 plus QBR. Tui's original sin was not playing for Dallas. If he was, he'd be extended again and be the highest paid QB in the NFL.
