Absolutely. I visited the Arizona Memorial during my honeymoon and it was definitely hallowed ground. It just gave you that feeling. I loved WW2 history and that generation of soldiers are truly a great generation.

Amazingly the same for me Amigo.

We got married in Maui but I insisted we go to Oahu just for this purpose.

Like you, also loved WWII history and wholeheartedly agree, those who served WERE the greatest generation.

I visited the Arizona Memorial when I was in 6th grade and unfortunately how no understanding or appreciation of what I was looking at, I need to go back
