Short week and we had several guys who got injured. Caelen Carson and Guyton never returned. This is obviously concerning, we can't win without him I dont think.

He took a huge shot to the ribs. He returned to the game but was reportedly hurting after it was over.

I'm not signing Pickens long term. Let someone else pay him. We rehabbed him.
He's been sensational. But he does have that vibe about him that he might be one of those players that slacks off once he gets the big contract with all that lovely guaranteed money. We know they exist. We've had a few of them in Dallas over the years.

Really time to take Turpin out of the offense. He's a bad play waiting to happen at this point.

Flournoy is too good to be wasting away as a blocker.
I'm not sure I'd go that far. He still has value and can make plays as a slot WR imo. Schotty just needs to stop using him with all those gimmicky bullshit plays.

here's a scenario where they win 8 in a row
We aren't winning 8 in a row, but if they did they'd almost assuredly make the playoffs. A scenario like you developed (where every playoff team in a conference had at LEAST 11 wins) has never happened since the league went to the new playoff format (2020). In either conference.

Also going back to 2002 when the league split the divisions into 4 teams, it's never happened.

In general, it's extremely rare for a team that wins 11 or more games to NOT make the playoffs.
