Trip down memory lane.
2010. We were 1-6 and Romo had already gotten hurt. We went into Green Bay on a Sunday night (my BDay actually).
We got absolutely demolished 45-7. Green Bay scored two defensive tds. We had 4 turnovers. Our leading rusher for the game was Felix Jones with 5 carries for 16 yards. Roy Williams (WR) dominated the Packers secondary with 1 reception for 6 yards. Orlando Scandrick was the star of the game defensively for us with 4 tackles and 1/2 of a sack.
Cream Puff Coach Wade was shitcanned (finally). A team that had basically quit by the GB game handed off the team to Red Headed Goober, and we finished 5-3. We beat a couple of playoff teams down the stretch that yr. The 3 losses we had were by 3, 3 and 1 pt.
After the Green Bay debacle we played at the Giants, who were heavily favored. The Cowboys won Garrett's debut and most people won't remember, but that game ultimately cost the Giants not only the division title (instead of Philly) but also the last playoff spot. (they finished 10-6 and tied with Green Bay and Tampa). Green Bay snuck into the playoffs and ultimately won the Super Bowl. Had the Giants beaten us that day, Green Bay would have missed the postseason and not won that Super Bowl.
Sunday night we play the damn Peckers again. We have never beaten them here at Jerry world, and that trend won't be reversed this weekend. I suspect the score will be every bit as ugly as that 2010 game.
