He made it official, he is retiring from broadcasting and one of the great football careers ever is now officially over.

Most fun I have ever had watching sports was during Jimmy's 5 years in Dallas.

Made America's Team Great Again, even if only for a few years. We could have won 5 or more championships easily had he stayed on here.

I don't remember him saying anything memorable on that show, but happy retirement.

And then we went to NY and beat the Giants on a short week, but we almost blew a huge lead.

its as incredible, ruined me for life, thanksfully I obsessively savored every moment I could. Went to the SF championship game in Dallas (stood up the entire game as did the entire stadium which if you know Dallas fans, they never did that and would even jump your ass if you stood up too much during a game) plus Super XXX and many other games. They also did events at bars with various players and we'd jet to everyone one we could multiple times per week

it was pure joy
