drafting michigan DL has not worked out at all but although they struck out on mazi, i am glad they tried drafting an impact interior DL

Completely agree. I'd bet Mazi's issues are as much attitude than they are physical. By all accounts, the guy is a physical freak but if he lacks the passion and desire to play, it just won't translate onto the field.

Having him lose and gain weight like a change of clothes almost certainly hasn't helped his development either.

If they wanted a 3T type player in that draft there were other players who were far better fits.
