I'm not for the US Govt. funding going to Mars, and neither is MTG.
Let some other nation do it. Or a private citizen do it.
I am okay with a US Govt. Moon Base though.

I don't know what levers he has to stop NYC from destroying themselves. If Mamdani manages to get the city council to defund the police for example, there really isn't anything Trump could do about that - at least until defunding the police results in chaos. If Mamdani gets his wish and create government run grocery stores there is nothing Trump could do about that either.

There is still a good chance Mamdani does not win, although Cuomo refusing to drop out could actually get Mamdani elected. Even so, there seems to be a coalition forming behind Mayor Adams who is running as an independent.

Republicans gave up a golden opportunity to take control of NYC when they nominated Curtis Sliwa. That's a joke.

I am actually a bit surprised by this. I didn't see a strong case for Trump's lawsuit in the form it took. I see a stronger case for the FEC to step in and fine CBS. At some point, the FEC has to address the biased media and its effect on elections. What CBS did for Kamala should have been classified as an in kind political contribution. It is a slippery slope but something needs to be done about the influence media has on our election as they become more and more propaganda driven.
