The minute the alarmists claimed the polar caps would thaw everyone should have known this climate change thing was a load of crap. Given the average temperatures of the polar caps the earth would have to warm a lot more than 5 degrees to completely melt the polar caps.

The fact is, while the preponderance of scientists believe the climate is changing, none of the serious scientists are claiming it will be an existential threat to humanity. If the earth is actually warming, things will change, of course, but it is not going to cause the extinction of man or life on earth. If you believe that you are a moron.

Fact- it's been hotter and colder on earth in the billions of yrs of existence. And most of that was way before there was any "manmade" anything.

The big money grab - "climate change" is just a tool for redistribution of wealth.

Follow this guy he's a PhD and keeps it all in perspective.

What gets me is when we have a heatwave like this, which lasts a few days to a week, the left claims it is climate change, as if we have not had heat waves before. But come winter, when we have a week of subnormal temperatures, or an entire winter of cold weather, they claim it is just weather, not climate. This past winter was one of the coldest we have had in a long time. I was bitching about the 40 degree weather in May on the east coast.

I also remember playing golf in 100+ degrees when I was in my 20s. I remember a drought one summer that lasted for months when I was in my early teens. It was just weather back then and changes in weather were expected. Now, we expect every day to be "normal" or else something terrible had to cause the deviation.
