45 years ago today. Two late quickfire TDs and some questionable Dolphin playcalling give the Cowboys a dramatic 28-27 comeback victory...

Loved him as Quint.

What about.....Larry Bethea? Robert Shaw? Howard Richards? Rod Hill? Billy Cannon? Kevin Brooks? Shante Carver? David LaFleur?

Jerry isn't ever giving up the GM tag. No way. I could maybe see a world where Troy takes Will McClay's role (McClay's job should definitely be in question after some of the recent drafts).

This mostly just indicates which coaches inherited talented rosters and which ones had to start from virtually nothing.

Well it's news, but calling it 'great' is over-egging it a bit.

NFC East is pure comedy at the moment...

Couldn't run the ball...again (15-48). Until we can run the ball often and consistently, opposing teams will just sit back in soft zones and wait for Dak to make mistakes.

An open door you say? For the Dallas Cowboys you say?

This is the poor bastard that had Jonny Football thrust upon him when he was HC in Cleveland. Hasn't he suffered enough already without dragging him into the mess that is the Dallas Cowboys?

I remember this guy for having a career game when the Rams shocked us 27-23 at Texas Stadium in 1992 - 29car/110yds/1TD and 7rec/44yds/1TD. I believe he was also a Miami Hurricane under Jimmy.

Howard did eventually prove to be useful in that Jimmy packaged him up (along with Eugene Lockhart, Ron Francis and other picks) and sent him to the Pats in exchange for the 1st overall pick in 1991 (Russell Maryland). The real beauty of the trade was what Jimmy did with all those draft picks...

The stipulation was that if those players (Alex Stewart, Darrin Nelson, Jesse Solomon, David Howard & Ike Holt) weren't on the Cowboys roster on February 1st 1990 then the Cowboys would receive pre-determined draft picks from Vikings. Holt was with us through 1992 and SBXXVII. Solomon and Howard...

They Jags could play here every week and still nobody over here would give 2 shiny shits about the Jags.
