Not sure I am buying we will pursue him TBH. Age and injury situation are things that are real factors. Was a great player for sure prior to last yr.

I still think I'd go the route of Oweh or Mafe, or pursue someone else via trade.

Oweh is definitely on my target list for us and Highsmith might be available via trade because apparently the Stealers dont want to move Herbig.

I've seen it suggested that Herbig (if targeted) might be had by sending pick 12 to Stealers for Herbig and pick 21 and depending on who's available when we get on the clock, this wouldnt be a bad move.

Herbig seems like a perfect fit for new scheme and is under rookie contract too.

Seems Highsmith is the one that might be more likely to deal though.

Relax? You need to get off this infatuation with trading our 1st round picks. If this team spends any first round picks for Herbig, I'm officially done. The guy was a 4th rounder and not saying he's not a quality player for the steelers. But we need to improve our drafting and find these players on our own rather than giving away picks for over achievers.
