Obviously hypothetical. What would be your thoughts on the team if they did these things:
1) Keep Pickens and Aubrey
2) Trade one of the 1sts for Maxx Crosby
3) Sign LB Devin Lloyd or maybe Nakobe Dean or Bobby Okereke
4) Sign a FS like Coby Bryant or Jalen Thompson
5) Use the other 1st rd pick to draft the best available DB, LB or another Edge

They gimme Crosby and any two other players we covet PLUS their #1 overall pick then I'm fine with giving them our 12 and 20. And Dak. And Pickens.

Another top-tier free agent name that we are expected to pursue.
Unlike previous years when you basically heard crickets and then we signed nothing but tier-2 and tier 3 guys (at best) it seems we are aiming higher this year.
Hope we add one solid starter on each level (Edge, LB and DB). DB we could potentially do a CB and Safety.
Would leaves us with a lot of options on draft day.

I would absolutely not give up draft capital on any more players and that includes Crosby.

I don't know what these idiots get paid but it's too much. The window is closed until we get a franchise QB. Everything else is fluff......you can have a wicked good DE....two CB's playing out of their mind and setting records, the best FG kicker/weapon in the game, etc...etc....
None of it will matter until we get a guy under center.

Shefter intimating teams will have interest in Aubrey, even with the 2nd rd pick price tag.
If you are a playoff caliber team drafting at the bottom of the 2nd rd and have a major kicker problem, sacrificing a 2nd for the ultimate weapon is not beyond the realm of possibility. The question is would we match it.
