Acitvist libtard judges will be all over this I'm sure
I have posted about this before but I am against ending the filibuster. I think it is bad for the country no matter who does it. The theory is if we end the filibuster and pass now voting laws to end cheating, like voter ID, etc. that Democrats won't win anymore elections so they will not get a majority to repeal the laws passed by Republicans. This is folly. There is an entire generation of AOCs voting for all kinds of stupid stuff. Plus, there was giant swaths of immigrants from 3rd world countries that already have the vote. It is only a matter of time before the country is taken over by these people no matter what the voting laws are.If Republicans want to put real wins on the board for the American people, it starts with ending the Senate filibuster. I know this is controversial. But the truth is, if it weren’t for two former Democrat Senators, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, Democrats would have already blown it up last time they were in power. The hard truth is that if Republicans don’t do it now, the radical Democrats will end the filibuster the moment they retake control of the Senate. Then they will immediately cement their woke agenda into law, including things like packing the Supreme Court, destroying our borders, mandating electric vehicles, and allowing abortion up until the day of birth.
The filibuster was never supposed to be what it has become today. In the 1800s, it started as a Senate tradition used to allow extended debate. Debate would continue until a simple majority voted to end it. That changed in 1917 when the Cloture Rule was created, which required a two-thirds vote to end debate. In the 1970s, the threshold was lowered to 60 votes where it remains today.
Over time, the filibuster has gone from a way to facilitate meaningful debate to a tool that greatly expands the power of a single Senator. So, it’s not really surprising that some of my colleagues are determined to keep it—it’s all about power. For example, Democrats recently used the filibuster to shut down the government for 43 days. The filibuster allowed them to withhold paychecks from troops, veterans, law enforcement, and air traffic controllers. Democrats despise President Trump and will do whatever it takes to slow him down. Expect government shutdowns to become the new normal as Democrats have made it clear they’d rather screw over our troops than let President Trump succeed.

Texas gets one right for a change.
No mail-in ballots. No ballot boxes. Same day voting and counting everywhere. He's wrong. Paper ballots are the problem, not the solution. Think about it. Every time we hear stories of voter fraud it is about boxes of ballots turning up. It is about running paper ballots through counting machines multiple times. It is about pre-filled out paper ballots turning up and counted. It's about paper ballots showing up well after polls close. It is about states counting ballots days or weeks after the polls close.
Paper ballots create the opportunity for fraud.
We need a new point of vote system where the voter enters his vote directly and it is counted at that point. There is no middle man putting your ballot into a scanner to count your voter. We transfer trillions of dollars all over the world today without paper. We can do the same thing with voting and make it just as secure. Technology can provide receipts, audit trails, and instant vote totals. No more vote counting for weeks after election day has passed. This can be done if we have the will to do it. Of course it would mean every voter would have to had some kind of secure ID. It would mean making sure every voter is who he says he is when he registers. So instant registration may disappear in favor of a more secure background verification.
Such a system could be nationwide and end voters voting in two states. It would end vote harvesting. It would eliminate mass voter fraud. No system is perfect, but the idea would be to minimize those who can cheat and how much they can cheat.
