Shocking video shows a police officer fatally shoots his girlfriend before turning a gun on himself in Colombia.

“A new case of femicide occurred on the evening of Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in the Quintas del Sur neighborhood of Ciudad Bolívar, at the hands of an active-duty officer of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police.

According to information provided by authorities, the incident occurred at a beauty salon where the victim worked. The officer arrived there and, without saying a word, fired his service weapon, killing his partner. After committing the crime, he took his own life with the same firearm.

Lieutenant Colonel John Fernando Díaz, operational commander of citizen security number 2, confirmed the unfortunate event.

“In the last few hours, in the Quintas del Sur neighborhood of Ciudad Bolívar, a tragic incident occurred in which a woman lost her life at the hands of her ex-partner. The assailant, an active member of the National Police, used a firearm he owned to kill her and subsequently injured himself . She was taken to a medical center, where she died minutes later.”

According to information provided the woman’s body had been shot approximately ten times. The man emptied a magazine from his firearm, then reloaded and shot her a couple more times.

As reported the victim of this femicide was Yesica Paola Chávez Bocanegra, 26 years old. Also indicated that the apparent cause of this unfortunate event was because the young woman refused to continue sharing with the perpetrator, who was identified as Andrés Julián Meza Ramírez, 36 years old, due to a history of physical and psychological violence.

Despite Meza’s employment at the institution, he had a criminal record for domestic violence in 2019 and 2024.”

Man shot to death over love triangle in Dallas apartment complex parking lot: video​

Video shows the moment a man was shot to death at an apartment parking lot in Dallas’ Southeast Oak Cliff neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in the 5900 block of Highland Village Drive, according to a press release from Dallas police.

Police found 36-year-old Quentin Brown, shot in the parking lot of an apartment, the release states. He was taken to a hospital where he died, police said.

Investigators suspect 22-year-old Alonzo Green of committing the crime, police said.

Detectives say one witness admitted she was in a sexual relationship with both Green and Brown, and they had recently been arguing with each other over their relationship with her. Her name is not being released for her safety.

Green was arrested and charged with murder, the release states.
