Ok. This really bugs me. The passing game is not the problem. Calling running plays to offset the passing plays is the problem. If Jason wants an offense devoid of running plays, then yes, the passing game will need to be more complex but its still not a QB issue if the design of the offense itself allows very finite options for each passing play. If this is just about Romo rehabbing, then who cares. But if Jason is trying to convince the world that Romo needs to somehow be even more salvific on each pathetic-Garrett play than he already has to be just to keep the plays alive, then there is a virus in Dallas that will kill the team before the season even starts. Linehan? Cuttliffe? While Parcells, Aikman, Jimmy Johnson, etc say run the ball, Jason is trying to become a rushing atheist. My favorite is how Linehan is supposedly associate with success from all of the passing and receiving yards "he got" out of Stafford and Calvin Johnson. Did that combo lead to victories? The Uber passing part of Dallas's offense is not broken that it needs to be fixed.
