That's why some of us complained about using our first few picks on offense last year. Our top three rookies contributed to a good effort last night. If those three picks had been on defense, this D isn't that bad.

But the yards don't mean much... With the continual rules changes, those yards will just go up every year around the league.

Hard to complain about fixing the OL when it needed it so bad. Fred was definitely a great pick. Austin is useless and TW definitely has a bright future, he was a great addition. Escobar is the one people can complain about, but I actually think he's going to be pretty good eventually. The coaches wasted him this yr.

Agree with that. I like Fred and TW a ton and am glad we have them. Escobar even looks like he at least has good catching ability.

Just saying that we had a terrible defense last year and then didn't add anything to it. No surprise it's still terrible.
