Don't exaggerate. He sucked. But they were never in position to win.

They were never in position to win because they left a lot of yards on the field. There were at least two passes that, had they connected, would've either resulted in touchdowns or at the very least put the Eagles deep into scoring position. The one to Celek where he had nothing but wide open field in front of him, plus that JJ Wilcox reversed interception... a better ball = 7 points there.

Foles was way off and was playing like shit. We never had the fear the pass, and could key on stopping the run.

Philly would've beat us had Napoleon Dynomite not missed a dozen wide open receivers.
This type of argument is so dumb....basically saying "they would have beat us if they had better players." Well no shit.

We would have murdered them if we had Charles Haley and Deion Sanders still in their prime.

Romo also missed an easy TD to Dez. I get what you're saying but we still win that game

No, not saying if they had better players. Saying if the players they had played better games. Nick Foles isn't Peyton Manning, but he's played decently for them.

Sunday he was attrocious. We lucked out that he played such a bad game.

I don't know. I literally have no confidence in our defense.

If they connect on a few big plays - as they've done all year - then the run game gets going, and it's a whole different ball game.

I mean... we dominated Time of Possession 36 minutes to their 24 minutes.

We only had 22 first downs. They had 19 first downs.

Our average starting field position was at our 33 yard line. Their average starting field position was at their 19 yard line.

If they were able to generate any semblence of an offense, they win that game. Plain and simple.

I thought I saw Sturm on Twitter say Selvie was on a 2 year deal. Pretty astute if so and certainly helps things cap wise/depth wise for next year

Hayden and Selvie are on 2-year deals. Only thing is I'm not sure if they are voidable. Rayford is under contract through the 2015 season. Austin, Wynn, and Nevis are all free agents after this season.

We also have Crawford and Bass under contract next year.

Took them long enough. Like Drake Nevis, he is tailor made for Kiffin's defense. Assuming he wants to work, it would be a good signing.

I think you are hitting on the truth here.

One of the best things about Kiffin's defense is that the coaches know what kinds of players work within the scheme. When the coaches know what kind of players fit, the scouts can identify players who are likely to mesh well with the system.

Obviously, this is very helpful.

It has been a long time since the franchise has been able to operate in this way. A very long time.
