At 31 years old Ware appears to be done.
I don't know what happened. He was "tearing it up" in training camp and now all the the sudden he's a JAG. I wouldn't be opposed to releasing him in the offseason.
And the Crawford injury was a blessing in disguise for Selvie and the team if we can resign him after the season.

This is more propping Selvie and what a steal we might have than tearing down Ware, so relax David.
If Ware comes back and gets stonewalled all game again then I'm perfectly fine with releasing him. He makes too much money to play like that. Wilbur has come in and played better, and I haven't seen him jump offsides once.

Just heard on Elf and Slater that Stephen Jones has DE Marvin Austin coming in for a workout. North Carolina talent. I remember him from the draft.
I wanted him when the Giants cut him, because I thought they were deep on the DL and I thought he could have potential. But after being cut twice, it seems he might just not be any good. I mean, he hasn't played in like two years.
That said... Marinelli is a miracle worker.

He's been showing a good burst off the ball and has gotten good push in the pocket a number of plays. He is definitely in the right scheme for his talent for the first time since college.
