IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys have two more agreements to reach with their draft picks after securing third-round wide receiver Terrance Williams to a four-year deal.

Williams, the No. 74 pick overall, will receive a signing bonus of roughly $619,500.

The Cowboys got Williams with the extra pick they acquired in their draft-day trade with San Francisco, moving from No. 18 in the first round to No. 31 where they picked Travis Frederick.

A Dallas native, Williams caught 97 passes for 1,832 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior at Baylor. He finished his collegiate career with 202 catches for 3,334 yards and 27 touchdowns.

The Cowboys expect Williams to be their No. 3 receiver behind Dez Bryant and Miles Austin. After a slow start at the rookie minicamp, Williams’ play improved and had a productive minicamp, which ended last week.

The Cowboys have yet to sign Frederick or second-round tight end Gavin Escobar, but expect deals to be completed quickly.

No holdouts this training camp. When you draft the right people that tends to not happen.

This I cannot wait to see. He'll be our best number 3 receiver in a while.

Holdouts rarely happen anymore anyway. With the new CBA, rookie salaries are basically slotted. Not much to negotiate

Thats not saying much.

We've had a some good ones, Butch Johnson, Kelvin Martin, Kevin Williams, Patrick Crayton, Laurent Robinson. Now Terrance Williams.

I'd say Butch was the best out of all of them.

I'd say Butch was the best out of all of them all.

I don't think Aikman was fond of Kevin Williams.

Kevin Williams wasn't very good, especially for being a 2nd rd pick.

This is true.

I vividly remember Aikman going after KWill for screwing up a route badly in the playoff game vs GB in 1993 (the first time we played them at home in the playoffs during those years). The play resulted in a pick, and Aikman just ripped his ass on the sideline along with Irvin.

He was pretty much a disappointment as a WR overall. Was definitely not worth the 2nd Jimmy invested in him.

In 1994 Aikman called Williams a derogatory name for screwing up a route and Switzer tried to force Aikman to apologize. He refused.

Didn't KEvin Williams have like a 10 reception 200 yard game against the Cardinals once?

Kevin Williams - 1995 Christmas Night

Clinched Homefield against the Cardinals on MNF because of 49ers loss the night before . 200 yd night and 2 TD'S

Emmitt set the TD record for a season that night if I'm not mistaken. Broken a few years later by Tomlinson.

It's also the Jerry Maguire game. The real footage for the movie came from that game.
