I do believe it'll come down to 3 guys at 18- Warmack, Cooper or Richardson. If one of them is there they will be the pick IMO. If not, I think we will trade down.

I think this is a good year to trade down as well. There's so much depth at positions we need help at in the 2nd-3rd-4th-5th round areas anyway, and unless one of those big 3 drops to us I don't think there's a ton of difference between the remaining prospects in our area and those down below us.

I'm sticking with just making the 6 picks we have, although I do think we will move down and acquire some extra picks. Also if they move down with the right team (say Atlanta or SF) its certainly possible we could net an extra 2nd rd pick, which would be like getting back the one we traded away last year.

I also believe we'll sign wither Clabo or Winston to play RT, and sign Brandon Moore to take over one of the G spots. I don't think its all that far fetched that we already have deals in place with one or even two of them and are just waiting till either right before, or just after the draft (more likely) to make it official.

The Anthony Spencer thing is interesting. They still don't have a long term deal done after being pretty optimistic they'd get him a multi-year deal earlier. While probably unlikely, I wont be all that shocked if he ended up being traded on draft day. If so, getting a DE that can start now early in the draft (or at least rotate with someone else and play extensively) obviously becomes a priority. Not sure who is left in free agency there.

1st- Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina: Gotta start planning for the day when Hatcher and Ratliff are not here (which is after this yr IMO) and Ratliff has shown the past 2+ seasons that he cant stay healthy anyway. Would love Richardson, but I think he'll be gone and Williams is a nice fall back. Williams could possibly start from day one, and maybe they save Ratliff some wear and tear by using him in more of a rotational role rather than get beat up so much on run downs.

2nd- Justin Hunter WR Tennessee: This is the one sorta surprise that wouldn't shock me, as I think they are already thinking about life without Miles Austin, on top of the rumors after this past season that they might release him then. They also brought in several 1st/2nd rd rated prospects at WR for visits. They didn't bring Hunter to my knowledge, but with Derrick Dooley on staff here we didn't need to. Hunter is a 1st rd talent and may not even be there for us, but if he is I love his game. Great size and speed, great run after catch skills. Could form a nearly unstoppable 1-2 duo with Dez Bryant for years to come. His addition might relegate Austin to the 3rd/slot WR role sooner rather than later, which might be his best role now. Hunteer provides some downfield speed we lack on offense currently too.

3rd- Barrett Jones C/G Alabama: Kinda hoping the injury causes him to keep dropping. Jerruh mentioned adding an interior OL who could play C&G was a priority, and Jones when healthy fits that. Once healthy, he could probably win the starting C job easily. Great leadership skills, extremely bright and has extensive position flexibility, having already started (and been highly decorated) at 3 different OL positions (C, G & LT)

4th- TJ McDonald FS/SS USC: Supposedly Kiffin loves McDonald, and McDonald already has extensive experience playing safety in Kiffin's cover-2 scheme. Might not last till our pick in the 4th after reportedly solid workouts after the combine.

5th- Cornelius Washington DE Georgia: Developmental DE/pass rusher who can play behind Ware/Spencer this yr, and potentially take over for Spencer after this season if they choose not to sign him longterm.

6th- Kniles Davis RB Arkansas: Should be 100% now after struggling to recover this past season from his injury two years ago. Good size, explosive speed. A guy who can carry the ball 20+ times if needed.

I do think we'll have more than just 6 picks when all is said and done though.

Pretty good actually. Throw I'm a 4th round tackle or whatever in the trade down.

Yeah another OL and maybe a 3rd TE would be on the list if we had the picks.

Also think a CB could end up being picked somewhere. I think Scandrick is another who might be done here after this season.

barrett jones sucks...tj mcdonald sucks...i like rounds 1-2..but not enough OL help

If Jones sux, why was he so decorated?

McDonald would benefit greatly from playing in a scheme similar to what he played in college, which obviously will be the way that plays out if we draft him.

And this mock isn't necessarily what I WANT for us to do, its what I think is a likely scenario.

Most likely I'll be off and not even get one guy right.

Like the mock... First round had me kinda eh, but I love getting Hunter in the 2nd and Barrett Jones will be an upgrade at C imo.

Little disappointed no Guard taken, but thats a legit reality. Jerry loves him some Leary, afterall.

Other players I like for us:

QB- the only one I'd waste a pick on this year is Tyler Bray. And while I know he has some questions, he also has the prototype size and arm strength/throwing ability. He also put up some pretty significant numbers in the SEC and not blahblahU against mediocre opponents. If he's around in the 3rd or 4th (especially if we have extra picks) I'd be pretty happy to get him. 2-3 years sitting and learning could do him well.

RB- Love Johnathan Franklin and Montee Ball. If we have extra picks and one is around in the 3rd, I'd be thrilled with either. Like Lacy too, but I feel pretty confident he is going in the 2nd, maybe even the late 1st.

WR's- Deandre Hopkins in the 2nd would have been nice, but he pulled a major knucklehead move the other day which makes me wonder if he gets it. I think before that he was likely a late 1st or early 2nd. Like CMD's guy Robert Woods a lot in the 2nd or 3rd too.

TE- in the late rounds, somebody like Alabama's Michael Williams would be a nice add for us. Tremendous blocker and capable short area receiver, although he showed in the Senior Bowl he can get downfield a little too. Would be a great 3rd TE for us I think.

OT- I like Fluker a lot and wouldn't hesitate to pick him in the first, but I wonder if they feel he doesn't fit the scheme well enough. Terron Armstead would be a solid add. Like Chris Faulk in the middle rounds too.

OG/C- Frederick in late 2nd or Schweneke would be fallback options if they didn't get someone like Jones. I like that Thornton kid from Illinois too.

DE- If Ansah fell in our lap, I'd be pretty happy. Unlikely to happen though. If Tank Carradine made it to our pick in the 2nd, he'd be a great add.

DT- Bennie Logan in the middle round (3/4) would be a nice fallback if someone isn't taken earlier. The Williams kid from Missouri Southern is interesting to me too. If Kawan Short made it to our pick in the 2nd and we didn't go DL in round one, I think he could be good value there. Makes a lot of plays.

LB- Cant say I'm overly interested in any of them.

CB- I'm sure it isn't a priority, but someone in the middle to later rounds (especially if we have traded for more picks) wouldn't be a bad thing. Sanders Commings and Jordan Poyer seem to fit our new defensive scheme

S- If they take Vacarro I hope its only after they have moved down and acquired an extra pick or two. I guess if they are stuck and cant trade down, and took him worse things could happen, but I'd definitely feel better about him in the mid 20's than at 18. Same thing for Eric Reid. I think Bacarri Rambo is the best ballhawk in the draft but I bet we wont take him because of the suspensions at UGA. Shawn Williams worked out much better than expected, he could be a nice middle round fall back at safety as well.

He played against NFL talent every week in the SEC, didn't see him getting destroyed any.

Hes a product of a great oline. If hes so decorated then why does he have a 4th round grade on him? While his counterparts warmack and fluker both have first round grades?

Pretty wide variety of "grades" on Jones, and not many that I've seen with a 4th rd grade. Seems most have him going in the 2nd or 3rd rd, and his injury/surgery has definitely had some impact there. Lis Franc is a pretty significant injury, and he actually played with it in the bowl game and IIRC also against Georgia in the SEC Title game

Before the season started everyone had this guy going in the first round.
