Seems like this is taking forever.

Was the Dooley hire official?

Only an idiot would have let Boniol go.

Which means with Jerry in charge, it could have happened.

Never thought Boniol was going anywhere.

Eventually he may end up someone's ST coach though.

With the Super Bowl over, can we expect the remaining two coaching positions to be fill this week?

honestly nobody knows.

I heard bryan broaddus say on the radio yesterday that they have taken there time because they want to get it right and have people in mind but were in no hurry because the positional coaches do not have as much to do right now.....his words not mine.

he said they are doing the right thing in taking there time to get it right.

There has been rumors that the Asst. coaches that they want was with the Ravens or 49ers. That would explain the delay with the hiring. Rumors, rumors, rumors.

So I guess Wes Phillips is TE coach and Frank Pollack is the new assistant OL coach. Interesting that Pollack played for Callahan and has been at Houston the last few years. Wonder if we go to a true zone blocking scheme now.

Looks like they are going more to the zone blocking. I can't wait till they get these midget lineman. They damn sure won't be able to hold the POA then. I wouldn't mind drafting some big guys with good feet and using some zone concepts. They did that in the 90s and it worked great. I can't stand the small guys running a finesse scheme. As a former olineman and oline coach, it stinks to run a finesse scheme. It is so gay.
