I know this has been discussed in the last few years, but how are we not switching to the 4-3? We have the personal to make that move anyways.

Signing spencer wouldnt be as needed. Would love to have Mingo at the 18th pick and pair him with Ware. The money saved on Spencer can go towards Oline or even Henry Melton.

Ware-Rat-Melton-Mingo

Still can draft Oline in the 2nd

According to some people with the team on Twitter (Eatman/Broaddus/someone else) we won't do much of anything in free agency. Unlikely we sign Melton who will command huge dollars.

And I doubt Mingo lasts until 18.

I'm all onboard the move to a 4-3 though. It would also alleviate the need for a monster NT. And the recent signing of Brent Price could go a long ways of filling in one of our DT spots.

How would Hatcher/Lissemore/Crawford translate to a 4-3?

Jerry would need someone to talk him into it. He's convinced the 3-4 is the way to go, he's brought in personnel and coaches to run it and he wouldn't know if his players were better suited for a 4-3 anyway.

Like any change in Dallas, someone has to get Jerry's ear and talk him into it.

He's like a leaf blowing in the wind when it comes to football decisions.

Mingo will not be available to us.

I'd rather have a Dline of a 4-3 like this:

Ware - Coleman -McCullers-Mingo (if by chance we got him, if not... Hunt).

I'd use the 2nd rounder on Bacarri Rambo --- Safety.

3rd round--- Alvin Bailey (OG).

Crawford probably fits the 4-3 better than the 3-4.

Hatcher? WGS

I would like to see us do that since we can't figure out how to implement the 3-4 correctly. You need a big nose tackle like everyone else has. If you put a 285 lb one out there he'll get banged up and we'll get the ball run down our throats.
