When you price out the real fans that's what you get. I'm sure the Cowboys fans outnumbered the Bears fans significantly but the type of fans that will make noise can't afford to sit in that amusment park of a stadium every week. Watch a Lakers home game if you want to understand the phenomena.

But you can't dwell on shit like that. We played absolutely as poorly as we possibly could - I don't see why anyone would expect that to be a trend rather than an outlier? On to the next one.

If you bang a hot chick, and then screw four fatties.... it's the hot chick that is the outlier.

Our impressive win against the Giants was the outlier. In every game since, we brought three fat girls back to the house, and couldn't even get hard for two of them.

Jon Gruden... STFU. The guy is so over the top in praising everyone he talks about it's ridiculous.

lol no kidding. I nearly chocked on Bob's cock when he praised Scandrick as a "playmaker."

So you're going on record saying we'll beat the Ravens?

I think we will. The only area they're better than us is the run game.

What we are missing is a commitment to the run game. So what it's not working? Stick with it. We have a defense now, that much is clear. Without abandoning the run and pressing we go into halftime with a lead perhaps. idk how to get this across to Garrett but it needs to happen. get Felix and Tanner involved. They aren't as good as Murray but behind this line where you need to dance a bit they may be better, because that's not Murray's style. Murray has to one-cut it and we're not giving him any cutback lanes, or getting movement at all. Right now we're running a tired, frustrated Murray behind guys who are poorly suited (so far) for Murray's style. And we're giving up on it way too soon.

Change that, keep playing tight D, the rest will fall in place. I think it's fixable, I just don't have faith in Garrett to fix it since we've been having this discussion since he's been hired. Run the fucking ball man. It's not a "if it works" thing, it's an attitude you go into the game with.

Very nice OP Midswat.

I agree on Dez.

Dez simply doesn't have the smarts to be a regular NFL WR. Time to bite the bullet and use him like he's Forrest Gump.

Have Dez return kickoffs and punts. Give him three pass patterns that he runs regardless of coverage. Do not ask or allow him to make sight adjustments. He's simply not bright enough to do anything even semi-complicated.

Theebs - I appreciate your observations about the new stadium. A month or so ago you mentioned a desire to chronicle on the web the Cowboys fans' experience in the stadium. I think you should do it, but with the slant you mention here .... how the stadium is more of a neutral site with little home field advantage due to so many of the opposition's fans. Chronicle how expensive the overall experience is and how it has out-priced what most people can afford. Talk with some of the opposing fans to see the various ways they obtained their tickets ... and maybe even trace it back and talk to the people who sold the tickets to the opposing fans.

oh yeah the great Ngata and....whoever the fuck else they have out there now that Suggs is hurt?

Of course the Cowboys don't have any all stars on the OL either. I gotta believe that the Ravens' no-names are better than the Cowboys' no-names. Not because the Ravens are especially good, but because the Cowboys are just that bad.

For the second week in a row Murray appears to run away from the holes and into congested areas. It's confusing, he ran away from a wide open gap last night and straight into contact.

I agree about running though. Just keep doing it. At some point you will make something happen, if u don't then punt and play defense.

Jason Garrett has no right at this point to be head coach and offensive coordinator. We need a guy in charge and a guy to fix is offense, he appears to be unable to do either individually yet he has both titles.

It's kind of sad at this point.

Our defense with five backups is out there busting ass and getting off the field and on the other side we do nothing but make mistakes, the whole unit is a mess. How can that be after all this time in the same offense?

Dez is maybe the most frustrating part about the team.

I wanted to kill him last night for that illegal shift. Fucking Ogletree is telling you you need to be off, you aren't fucking paying attention to him or the ball, and you finally notice a half second before the snap.

Get off the fucking field you fucking moron.

That is an awesome idea, ZC. I can see that being a big youtube hit and getting a lot of attention with the local media.

You don't mind us putting you to work like that, do you theebs? lol

Anyway, the whole team situation is sad. I keep being optimistic, thinking okay, we can't be this bad. But we just keep doing it. Really, this is feeling like last year's 1-4 stretch to end the year. Not quite as bad as 2010 when the team quit, but the second halves of the Seattle game and this one aren't that far off, either.

I just wonder what will prompt Jerry to finally wake up and hire another Parcells type outsider and give him power. At this point I'm almost afraid 9-7 might be the worst thing that can happen to us, with more false hope.

Norm reminded us that Murray's first run was for 11 yards. The next 10 times we ran the ball, we gained a total of 1 yard.

I want to make that blog I talked about before I just can't decide in which way to do it to make it interesting to read for anybody.

I might this week though.

I could write a 150 page dissertation right now on what happens there and what has happened at the stadium that is just absurd for the people who want football and nothing more. The whole place is built for the fan who comes to one game and wants to be blown away by stuff to buy, shiny things to look at and tons and tons of other nonsense.

Those of us there for football can all go shit in our hat, we don't matter.

You want football? Blank you, u get the kiss cam and the planted cowboys dancers dressed as fans in the upper deck there to make the fans laugh.

Oh and of course find the football under the helmet......

It's sickening.

For instance, those posts to Dez off PA were wide open because of just the threat of Murray. The Bears were loading up to stop him. Ok, but if you go away from him they will stop loading up.

I feel like Garrett makes too many adjustments. We aren't taking a gameplan into the game and then executing it. Or maybe we are and it's just a shitty gameplan - entirely possible.

For instance the Bears knew they wanted to get Marshall away from our outside guys, so they throw in some third down plays where he's in the slot and they got matchups against Butler and McCray. Fucking brilliant.

When is the last time we ever did something like that? Schemed to get our playmaker in a position where he can make plays? Oh I know we'll throw a bubble screen to Dez for 3 yards. Get bent Garrett.

It feels like he is changing his mind on the fly constantly and we can't get any rhythm. We don't have a commitment to anything.

Ya no doubt, but I have to say some of that is on Murray.

But in the end you just can not simply play right into the hands of the other team each game. They know we will get frustrated and then go shotgun 3 wide and they will just attack us.

Winning last nights game 10-7 would have been a big step forward. Instead we simply make the same mistakes over and over.

Yep same old thing.

Give up immediately on the run and go to the shotgun.

Teams know we have no deep passing game and no running game. Plus we block lousy at all times.

Yet each week it's the same exorcise in mistakes.

right after the cutler fumble I was standing up begging for us to run the ball and sure enough we throw and Briggs ends up in the end zone. I was so pissed. I never understand why we take such chances, we just had a mistake in the same area so we go right back to it.

If u can't run and you are going to pass u have to be extremely smart and efficient in the passing game which is the opposite of our team.
