2 days ago we were a 12-4 team if the oline plays well...granted, thats a big IF, i wouldnt completely rule them out just yet..I wouldnt even have us at 12-4 if they played well...

I wasn't saying we are going 12-4.

You asked me what would our record be if the OL played well. I think the O Line is our biggest weakness so in your scenario, "the OL playing well" I would think we can go far. Despite my criticisms of this franchise, mainly the depth, I am a huge fan of our offensive weapons and I'm driving the Tony Romo bandwagon (Sheik is sitting bitch).

Theebs is a great poster, perhaps one of the top 3 on this forum.

So it's Theebs, me, and ???

I've sensed, and this is solely my opinion, that the new season has returned him to his overly optimistic views he displayed at the Zone, and I get that. New season should equal new hope for Cowboy fans. Many of us have just had our hearts pulled out and shown to us too many times while Jerry parades around like he's bigger than the Franchise.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 16 years in a row, ...

Thanks for not going overboard or putting words in people's mouths. Much appreciated.

that was sarcastic intended for bkeavs.

I quoted his post but it didnt show up....

He keeps trolling me with his homer nonsense. Yet I am on record as saying I am not sure we make the playoffs and that center and safety is the weakspot that could sink our battleship.

so my response to him is 0-16, we suck.

You don't have to defend yourself. CMD took his head out of the sand now that the Trojans are eligible to win games again. So now he's running around beating his chest.

Didn't he get hurt first?.

He was very good early in 2010 came out of the gates with 3 100 yard games in the first 4 games.

When romo went down he was not utilized. Kitna never threw him the ball. I have no idea why, I suspect his arm and the timing were the reasons. I know it drove me nuts that year because he was open all over the place.

and bagging on him for 2010 he still had 7 td's and over 1000 yards which is what all you guys are crowning dez over.

last year was just a down year for him because of his injury.

Yeah. We gave him the new deal at the start of the 2010 season. Since then it's been mostly disappointment

You on the other hand, rank somewhere between CowboyJoe and Bob.

again, I dont even like jerry nor do I rarely even pay attention to him at this point. We have good players here. Its a team being rebuilt but we should compete every week.

this is a stupid league at this point. All you have to do is get in and you can win the superbowl. There just is no dominance anymore. If we can survive a difficult schedule and a brutal division I think anything is up for grabs.

not sure we can win the division though.

but yes, If liking this team and thinking guys like smith, murray, crawford, carr and lee on top of the other guys like romo, ware witten etc...makes me a homer...fine. Those are damn good players.

I'm ready to homer out. Especially if the oline is halfway decent, and the safeties play like bosses.

I'll always hate Jerry. No matter what. He's a piece of shit. I'll still homer out. One day this team will overcome the burden that Jones is and win big. The problem is, Jerry will want the credit. He can go fuck himself, though.

They had their moments. I find it hard to believe that a savvy vet like Kitna would ignore Austin if he'd been open.

He did not throw him the ball bb.

yes He made a number of plays but he was staring at dez when he was healthy and witten. For whatever reason and I think it was timing and arm strength he just did not make him the go to guy like romo has and does.

having mcgee play the final two games didnt help any of the wr or tight ends stats the final 2 games in 2010 also. Miles still made that fantastic catch against the cardinals that should have won the game.

I thought about that, but it would have been foolish to have Miles run routes that Kitna couldn't complete, so I doubt that it was a factor. I remember Bledsoe ignoring Witten for God knows what reason (preferred his old buddy Glenn?), so maybe QBs play favorites from time to time.

Can anyone post a video of a time romo threw a deep out from the outside hash marks?

I know this is a tough request, but I don't recall romo throwing this pass often.. I just want to see how well romo can throw that pass..

those tight deep throws he just couldnt make with the zip romo can. The skins, eagles and saints game I can tell you I just sat in disbelief watching kitna not throw austin the ball. He was open constantly....for whatever reason he went elsewhere with the ball.

but saying austin got paid hasnt been the same is crazy and ignorant honestly. he was off to an amazing start in 10 and 11. If Healthy he is going to have a great year.....He is just hard to handle with his size and speed.

which route? The 7 route to the corner or the 8 route to the post? He throws them both pretty well...

I can grab some examples in a few if you want.

I second the statement that theebs is a pretty good poster. Months before the regular season gets under way.
