I really dont think Arkin was that bad. I really expected a disaster with him at C to be honest, and while the overall play of the offense was bad, he wasnt the sole reason. I thought he showed some potential, especially considering it was his first game ever there.

Agreed.

Plan A is Costa. All reports are that Costa is struggling in camp. He's not doing well. And he's a guy with limitations to begin with.

Yet our front office is blind to this, and insist on trotting out guards and tackles to try their hand at center.

This puts our QB at risk, as well as prevents the entire offense from being properly evaluated.

THIS PUTS ROMO IS THE SACK LEAD IMO

Lots of bad line play this weekend.

The incredible steelers gave up 7 to the eagles without babin.

The giants gave up 5 to jax.

and your point being

is that we have a terrible O line is that the point

make it out any way to you want to Theebs

but we are now where close to the O line of the steelers or the eagles

Jesus I hope we are not the steelers, outside of pouncey they have problems all over the place.

Eagles didn't look very good either.

It's week 1 of the preseason. Defenses are always ahead at this point and no scheming leaves lots of teams looking really bad. That's my point.

I hate to say it as I like the guy (Arkin), and was intrigued by him as a prospect, with the hopes that he would be the next Jahri Evans type small school Olineman to come into the NFL. But...I have a feeling that Arkin is going to get cut during final roster cuts.

Playing 70% of the snaps in a preseason game as the starter going in, is pretty telling. That he either makes it or gets cut.

You really think so?!! I'm not sure, I thought we'd just keep him around but wouldn't cut him or put him on the team

I can't see any other reason for having him play C so much in the preseason. You usually plays guys a lot in preseason to get a long look at them.

High snap. Over Romo's head. Callahan calls out, "Get the hips down, Arkin."

@toddarcher: As far as walktroughs go this is pretty bad. Lots of repeats. Shotgun snap sails high.
