Peyton Manning will be in Denver tonight visiting with the Broncos, according to two NFL sources.
This is getting serious, folks.
Manning, arguably the most decorated free agent in NFL history, has the Broncos on his short list. The long-time Indianapolis Colts quarterback wasreleased earlier this week amid concerns about his neck, a $26 million bonus payment and the team's opportunity to select highly prizedquarterback

Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.Manning, 35, has beencleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. One NFL source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals andMiami Dolphinsafter visiting with the Broncos. A source said Manning would like to make a decision by Tuesday, the first day of free agency.

According to NFL Sirius Radio there's only 3 teams Manning is serious about. Denver, Miami, Arizona.

All three visits will be made and Peyton wants to have a decision by early next week.

Manning visits Broncos in Denver

Posted by Mike Florio on March 9, 2012, 1:46 PM EST

A few years ago, when we’d catch wind of a tip that we trusted, we’d just use it. Now that we’re mainstream (sort of) and legitimate (partially), we have to be a little more careful.

And so, sometimes, we’ll drop hints about something we’ve heard but can’t yet report. Like last night, when suggesting that it would be a good idea to keep an eye on Stillwater, Oklahoma.

A tipster, whom we regarded as either very trustworthy or an evil genius, told PFT last night that Peyton Manning will meet with BV.P. of football operations John Elway and other Broncos officials in Stillwater and then head to Denver to meet with Broncos owner Pat Bowlen.

He should be here (Arizona) tomorrow. Unless Denver sweeps him off his feet.

I doubt he'd go to Denver if stadium and weather are any issue. Plus why would anybody want to get caught up in that Tebow nonsense. In Miami he'd still have to deal with brady twice a year.

If he's really trying to avoid the NFC altogether Miami makes sense, but otherwise it's gotta be Arizona.

They were saying if he played for Arizona they have 11 dome games next year , plus outside games at Seattle and San Francisco, so just 3 bad-weather potential games (New England, Green Bay, NY Jets).

Where as Miami has to travel to Buffalo, New Engalnd, and NY Jets every year.

Miami does have to travel to Indianapolis next year. That would be awkward.

The thing about the weather is bullshit. He's going to a team where he feels has a good coaching staff and owner.

Think about it would you want to play for John Fox, Ken Whisenhunt or Joe Philbin?

I'm willing to bet he'll take Denver. Good coach, OL, defense, running game. All important to a veteran who is going to turn 36 this year.

Also Denver is the closest to winning a Super Bowl.

NFL Network is reporting Peyton was told if he wanted to he could bring anyone of the players he played with at Indy that were released.

Interesting, because Denver needs a tight end and could use a receiver. Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne could very well be in Denver to if he chooses Denver.

I wonder if Bud Adams will give the same sales pitch. He said he'll do whatever it takes to get him.

Look out Peyton, you might get the bird on the way out of the facility if you don't sign a contract.
