All starts with a QB. Teams have to have a quarterback. Winston has maturity issues, but he's a baller on the field. I'd put whatever support system in place needed to help the kid with his off the field problems, as neccessary.

My mindset going into this draft was to commit to one side of the ball. I'm more of a defensive minded person and there's no franchise QB in this draft so I decided to start the process of building a future number 1 D.

Thought about going that way too, but really.... its all about the QB. You need a QB. And I think Winston will be a good one in the right setting. So I built an offense around him.

You're right about the QB part.. Too hard to make it without a competent QB.

But I disagree with Winston. I don't think he's worthy of the pick (actually I don't think there's a number 1 pick in this draft) and prefer Mariotta if I'm going QB.

With Winston there's too many off the field concerns. On the field there's too many turnovers, he strikes me as very arrogant, I've seen plays in college where he clearly made the mistake but looked to immediately blame someone else... And he's a black QB if you didn't notice. Like white WRs/DBs they hardly work out. He can't even run. Fuck that.
