Normally I would agree

But look at the teams we played and when we played them.

Viking were at the top and we beat them

Packers were #1 in run defense and we ran for nearly 200 yards on them and won
The Bengals were on top and we beat them

Same with the Steelers, Ravens and Lions

So I don't consider this seasons schedule a cakewalk by any means

The only easy games we had were the bears, Niners and browns

I'm surprised

The only thing different between our 2015 4-12 season and our 13-3 2016 season was the QB play

Coaching had absolutely nothing to do with the turnaround

The coaching remained the same

Only the QB play changed

That's not entirely true. The whole team was better in 2016 as opposed to 2015. Zeke was a massive upgrade over Randle and McFadden, and Dez was actually somewhat healthy.

I think the last place schedule was huge and incredibly overlooked factor.

It added Tampa Bay (which was in the playoff hunt till the last week) and San Fran, which was awful.

The "last place" schedule argument is 100% lame dude. Everybody on our division played the same schedule for 14 of 16 games, and we still ran away with it. We had 5 wins over teams with winning records, and our wins vs Minnesota and Baltimore are what made them 8-8 instead of 9-7. I don't know what the final number was for the season, but late in the year they showed we led the league in wins vs teams with winning records.

I like how with everyone else, they mentioned their achievements and awards they've won.

With Jerry, it was just "The Owner of the Dallas Cowboys."
