He went 0-16 with an untalented football team? Then went to Chicago and had a really good run there?

Isn't that apples and oranges? He was HC and he might not be HC material, but take the macro-managing pressure off and he might be more effective. Then again, we might find he's really just a great D-line coach. Similar to the very smart QB coach who is currently getting paid to play dress-up as Dallas's HC.

He's an excellent DL coach, but he also was a really good defensive coordinator with Chicago.

Our defensive staff is good enough, the players aren't even close to good enough

Offensively the blame is a but more balanced

I bet Rod is looking forward to coming up with exciting ways to replace Lee in his defense around week 6.

I can't wait til Special Teams Guru #27 has to play a critical role on Defense and he sits there looking around as a Tight End runs freely up the seam. It's the best!

Who cares that he has no real football position. he is one of nine great special teams players we have.
