NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports Griffin's deal is for two year and is worth a total of $15 million with $6.75 million guaranteed. Rapoport adds that RGII is set to make $7.5 million in 2016 with $3.5 million coming in the form of a signing bonus.

So does this deter them from still taking the top QB in the draft? Or does it change everything for them?

RGIII will basically have one year to shit or get off the pot before Wentz takes over and relegates him back to irrelevant or I should say "back up" status

You are probably right. They just hired RGIII to fill the void this season while they develop Wentz and to create competition for the starting job
