OK, this is easy to do a couple of years from now. However, if you could re-do the Cowboys draft today, based upon where people went, what would you do?

Two scenarios:
1) Stay put and draft just as Dallas did. You can keep the trades or stay at the original spots.
2) Assume Cleveland would have given you what they gave Philly (26 and 83)

Scenario 1:
1. Zack Martin, OT/OG, Notre Dame - I'm assuming he can start at guard this year and take over for Free next year.
2. Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State
3. Kareem Martin, DE, North Carolina
4. Telvin Smith, LB, Florida State
5. Devin Street, WR, Pitt - I keep this trade
7. Ben Gardner, DE, Stanford
7. Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma
7. Ken Bishop, DT, Northern Illinois
7. Brett Smith, QB, Wyoming
7. Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas

Scenario 2:
1. Jimmie Ward, S, Northern Illinois
2. Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State
3. Gabe Jackson, OG, Mississippi State
3. Kareem Martin, DE, North Carolina
4. Telvin Smith, LB, Florida State
5. Devin Street, WR, Pitt - I keep this trade
7. Ben Gardner, DE, Stanford
7. Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma
7. Ken Bishop, DT, Northern Illinois
7. Brett Smith, QB, Wyoming
7. Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas

Mine wouldn't be much different from yours. But that's mostly off of name recognition as I didn't know the players well enough this year.

1 Zack Martin G/T Notre Dame
no trade up
2 Jeremiah Attaochu LB/DE Georgia Tech
3 Will Sutton DT Arizona State
4 Telvin Smith OLB Florida State
okay with trade up
5 Devin Street WR Pitt
7a Ben Gardner DE/DT Stanford
7b J.C. Copeland FB LSU - Cincinnati almost outbid us for him, don't take the chance.
7c Antonio Richardson T Tennessee - Take a chance on his size and the level of competition he faced.
7d Terrance Mitchell CB Oregon
7e Lonnie Ballentine S Memphis - Take a chance on this kid's size and athleticism over Dixon's limited ability.

By the way, Lawrence is 6'3" 251 with 33 3/4" arms and Attaochu is 6'3" 252 with 33" arms. I know Lawrence is the better player but I would take Attaochu AND Sutton over Lawrence.

83. Kareem Martin LDE
119. Jeff Janis WR

Do over the 4th and well, take pretty much any player chosen in that round after Hitchens, and I could deal with this draft. Probably the fifth too. Maybe the sixth and seventh as well.

You're just saying this to get David upset. That is called trolling. You could have mentioned taking Manziel and really pissed him off.

Yeah, I wish we'd have taken Millard after he lasted that long. And I'm kind of surprised we didn't with Jerry's OU connections.

I mean, you could've gotten Switzer on the horn to vouch for him.
