I hope the Boyz prove that POS rag prediction (if it is real) as bogus and untrue wishful thinking.

:bsalert

It's dated November 12, 2007. Dallas stopped their 6 game win streak. Dallas swept em in the Season then the Giants paid us back in the playoffs on their way to one of their lucky SB wins.

I actually thought the Giants had a good team in 2007, their pass rush was bigtime.

The team that won it the next time at 9-7 and gave up more pts than it scored, major fluke.

By the way, I hope all discussion about college spread offense coaches like Kevin Sumlin and Art Briles being legit NFL coaches ceases to exist.

Neither of these guys has any fucking clue how to get a team to tackle or play defense. Texas A&M is putting up one of the worst efforts in college football history today.

One thing doesn't have anything to with the other. If one of those coaches, signed Pat Narduzzi to coordinate the defense and dedicate 12 (half) of the scholarships to defensive players, they'd be fine. They don't have quality defenders for the most part.

neither of those teams has ever played defense...they got away with it because of their Nintendo offense

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo and Eli Manning have met 14 times in their careers, and their numbers are eerily similar in those games. Romo's completion percentage is 65.2, while Manning's is 62.3. Manning averages 8.6 passing yards per game more than Romo (273.1 to 264.5). Romo has thrown one more TD (30 to 29) and two more INTs (16 to 14) than Manning. As for head-to-head wins, the two are tied at seven.

The Cowboys have gone three straight games with 400-plus yards of total offense, which is the first time that happened since Weeks 5-7, 1983, when Danny White and Tony Dorsett were their offensive leaders. The last time Dallas had four straight games with 400-plus yards total offense: Weeks 1-4 in 1976, behind Roger Staubach and Drew Pearson.

If we win today, I'll be 100% sold on this team. Not that I think we'll win the Super Bowl, but I think we're legit contenders to be a major postseason factor.

The Giants were awful the other night in Philthy and of course we shocked the world in Seattle. This has the makings of a major let down game, especially with our recent history. If we can come out with a nice solid win I think it would be iron clad proof that this year's Cowboys are different by leaps and bounds over the past three years.

Some interesting comments on Tyron Smith below.

W2W4: New York Giants

October, 18, 2014
By Dan Graziano | ESPN.com

The 3-3 New York Giants travel to Dallas for a 4:25 p.m. ET game on Sunday against the 5-1 Dallas Cowboys. Here are three things we'll be watching:

1. Another tough matchup for Jason Pierre-Paul. The Giants' top pass-rusher had a tough time Sunday in Philadelphia against Eagles left tackle Jason Peters. Things get no easier this week against Dallas left tackle Tyron Smith, who last week became the first lineman to win an Offensive Player of the Week award since 2004. Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell raved about Smith on Thursday, calling him "the lynchpin of the offense." This ESPN Insider piece from Christopher Harris Insider this week ranked "DeMarco Murray behind left tackle kick-out" as the second-most unstoppable play in the NFL right now, and the left tackle in that equation is obviously Smith. Pierre-Paul is sound against the run and won't be overly aggressive as is the pass-rusher in Christopher's example (Robert Quinn), but that doesn't mean he'll have an easy time winning one-on-one against Smith, who's playing his position as well as anyone in the league.

2. Can the Giants get the offense in rhythm? The Eagles' pass rush so overwhelmed the Giants' offensive line Sunday night that Eli Manning and the offense couldn't get anything going. Their offense is rhythm-driven and must be on the field collecting first downs at a steady clip in order to operate effectively and score points. The Cowboys aren't likely to attack them as fiercely, but the way they slow down an offense is by boring it to death on the sideline. Dallas' average per-game time of possession is 34:02, which is the fourth-highest in the league. If they can run the ball with Murray as effectively as they have been, they can keep Manning and the Giants' offense off the field -- as they did to Russell Wilson and the Super Bowl champion Seahawks on Sunday in Seattle -- and knock them out of their rhythm that way.

3. Who replaces Victor Cruz? With starter Rashad Jennings out last week, the Giants used a combination of Andre Williams and Peyton Hillis at running back to little effect. Cruz, the Giants' top receiver, is out for the year due to a knee injury suffered in Sunday's game. The Giants are going to have to mix-and-match with some combination of Preston Parker, Kevin Ogletree and Corey Washington to replace Cruz's production while Rueben Randle and Odell Beckham Jr. serve as primary receiving weapons along with tight end Larry Donnell. It's not going to be easy, and the passing game is likely to suffer for the absence of Cruz and Jennings. Manning just doesn't have as many short-range options as he did two weeks ago.

Smith is very good. Maybe even elite. But can I say something?

If Romo still didnt have that incredible twist in his game, we're 3-3.

Against the Texans, JJ Watt blew by Smith and had Romo seemingly dead to rights. Romo spun out miraculously and threw a long, game changing TD to Williams.

Against the Seahawks, Bruce Irvin blew by Smith and had Romo virtually dead to rights. Romo spun out, danced around, and threw a game changing first down pass to Williams on third and 20.

Now, JJ Watt embarrassing a player is nothing to fret. He's a beast and he'll win some battles. But Bruce Irvin is kind of a one year wonder scrub.

Yeah if you want to know who should really get credit for this year, it's Romo. Amazing how none of this great blueprint was working worth a damn the first 1.5 weeks when his back was shot.

And oh btw... My Lambs. :towel

He is a helluva man to be able to come back from lower back disk surgery. He said he would come out of it "better than before" and I believe he has.
