Yeah pretty far fetched I know, but that's what I had to pick from

Cant imagine him not going in the top 35-38 picks and most likely will be a first rounder IMO

Why does it insist we have TE as a top 3 position need, when we are loaded with TEs?

It's hard as hell on that site, to trade up in the first round.

Peters scares me, but if he has his head on right he is a really good prospect. Getting him and Shaw both would go a long way towards fixing secondary long term. I think Edwards might be a steal late in the 2nd.

Does the site deduct points or give you worse grades if you don't select the "needs" they highlight?

I'm in the annual Spawn board 7-round mock, which I don't think is going to survive, since we are barely in the 2nd round and people are flaking... anyway, here's what happened so far.

I get a PM from the Vikings GM. He says something like "Hey, since we can't trade future picks in this mock, why don't you send me your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for Adrian Peterson."

I tell him no thanks and that I might consider trading a 4th for him (I'd really go as high as a 3rd) IF I don't get the RB I want in the first 3 rounds. He send me back another PM, this time all-caps...

"OH MY GOD, THAT IS SO UNREALISTIC. YOU AREN'T BEING FAIR."

I tell him there's no way the Vikings will get anything close to that trade in real life. Next PM says..

"I''M REPORTING YOU TO THE DRAFT COMMISSIONER AND BOARD ADMINS!!!!!!"

I'm pretty sure he is 12. Now, the picks:

1st round ..All of my guys are gone and I can't get anyone to trade with me. I take Arik Armstead, who I'm not in love with, but felt he was by far the best player available there.

2nd round...Preston Smith is still there somehow, so despite Armstead in the 1st, I go back to the D-Line well.

I'm trying like hell to move up in the 3rd to draft Damarious Randall but there are still some decent D-lineman available... Mario Edwards, Nate Orchard, Michael Bennett, Xavier Cooper, Grady Jarrett. I may end up going TJ Yeldon or Josh Shaw if I can't move up.

Love Preston Smith for us. Orchard not so much.

Getting Josh Shaw or Yeldon at our spot in the 3rd would be major stealage IMO

Shaw and Yeldon literally went the two picks before mine. I was in Vegas so the Commish went off my list and I got Buck Allen. I don't mind Allen just a bit of a letdown after being so close to Shaw or Yeldon.

I may end up with Nate Orchard in the 4th. DL overkill.

I really like Allen for us as well though. May never be a superstar but he could be a very dependable every down RB for us for a few seasons. I think he's a really safe pick.
