Guess Miami had Jim Otto from way back in the day. Didn't know that. But they really didn't have any great DEs, and pretty average OL for a list like this.

Also didn't realize USC had the most HOFers of any program. And cmd, even though he was a psychopath killer, you gotta put OJ at RB.

Based on NFL success would have gone OJ over Charles White for sure.

And yes, more HOF'ers than anyone. Suck on that Midswat.

No, he wasn't. He had a good half of a year (2007). Very up and down up until that point. 2006 he was attrocious.

Skins fans went way overboard in their worship, but Sean Taylor was pretty damn good.

Also, shame on me for forgetting OJ Anderson at RB. :paper Also didn't realize Chuck Foreman went there. (Plus put Jimmy Graham at TE over Winslow.)

Still bet Michigan would have a good team even though I think Big Ten football is way overrated and I don't know enough about them. They've traditionally had a lot of good linemen, though.

QB McNabb - I know I know
RB Jim Brown
ERnie Davis
I'd have a hell of a wishbone with Floyd Little as well.
FB Czonka (Moose on the bench)
WR Art Monk
Marvin Harrison
TE John Mack
OL Jim Ringo, Walter Sweeney, Stan Walters, John Flannery, Craig Wolfley - One HOF and some ok dudes, but JIM BROWN is running the ball

K Gary Anderson
P O'Neil

DL Freeney, Frase, Rob Burnett, Tim Greene

LB Dan Conley, Keith Bullock, Kevin Mitchel

S Donovan Darius, Markus Paul

CB Tebucky Jones, Will Allen

They might not be able to stop much but their running game is insane.

Syracuse had s nice run in the 90's where the were getting 5 or 6 players drafted per year. Obviously they had an awesome run of RB's back in the day. They call USC "Tailback U" but that really could have been the Orange Men as well.

Also, you can probably add Chandler Jones to that list in the next few years.

What about Miami...

Jim Kelly
Gore?
Shockey
Soldja (12 formation!!1!)
Michael Irvin
Andre Johnson

Jerome Brown
Sapp
Wilfork
Ray Lewis
Ed Reed
Sean Taylor

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch. They weren't that great along the O-line, though. Interesting...

Yeah Jimmy's Miami teams were pretty much a who's who of NFL talent from the top down. Their starting 22 was elite, but their backsups could have beaten a lot of NCAA teams.

.

No, he wasn't.

He was pretty much a liability in coverage and had a major penchant for stupid 15 yd personal foul penalties.

Had some nice blow up hits here and there, but he was not a "good" NFL player. He was an average one at best.

Dammit dbair, when I saw your name on the end of this thread I thought you were going to be making an argument for Georgia. Fran Tarkenton plus Herschel and a ton of other talent?

As soon as I get time, I'll put one together for them.
