Exactly, junk. Even I who has no faith in anyone involved in this organization can't believe how blatantly they've claimed that last year was a total fluke due to injury and 2014 is the "real" team here. Even if you believe that, you could make a few comments about how unacceptable 4-12 was, about how there are no excuses and how heads will roll if it happens again for the players if nothing else.

But no, Steve goes on the Ticket and defends the defense while saying the horrific offense was due to injury and we'll just hope Tony doesn't get hurt two years in a row. Unbelievable.

Yeah like I mentioned before, the 12-4 season is just as much of a fluke as the 4-12 season. What they are (and have been) is an 8-8 team. They've been the absolute picture of mediocrity for 20 years.

just another reason to not have the slightest bit of faith in what the organization is attempting to do...

We just resigned our 2015 INT leader who had a total of 2 INT! What could go wrong?

We continue to insure that we will be just as shitty this season as we were last season!

Way to instill confidence there front office! We as fans have faith that you all know what you are doing. Sure we do!

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys saved $321,000 in 2016 salary-cap space by signing safety Jeff Heath to a four-year contract last week.

Heath was set to count $1.671 million against the cap as a restricted free agent. With the new deal, he will count $1.35 million.

Heath received a $1.8 million signing bonus as part of the deal and will make $900,000 in base salary. The base value of the deal is $7.671 million, and he can earn an extra $500,000 in 2018 and '19 through play-time incentives.

Heath’s base salaries are $1.471 million in 2017, $1.5 million in 2018 and $2 million in 2019.

Hey guys we saved $321k.

Sure we absolutely blew $1.471M in 2017, $1.5M in 2018, and $2M in 2019, as well as $1.8M guaranteed but look, $321k right now.

I would have much rather paid him the $1.671M tender and see what he does this year than this waste of time contract we signed him for.
