Much was made during the offseason and at training camp of how Felix Jones would have an expanded role in the offense after finishing strong in 2009.

But after three games, he's averaging just seven carries per game, with a season high of eight coming in the opener.

"We love Felix Jones," Garrett said. "He's going to get plenty of opportunities as the season goes on. You saw it the other day with Miles Austin - he caught 10 the first game, he caught 10 the second game, he caught two this past week. Roy Williams caught more. Different opportunities will come for different guys.

Bad comparison, IMO.

Coverage will dictate where the QB throws the ball. The defense doesn't have any say in who's running it.

It's lame. If you want Felix to get more opportunities, put him on the field more. He's not a victim of the defensive scheme.

True.

The Titans figured out pretty quickly that if you gave White 20 carries a game or Johnson 20 carries a game, that at the end of the game Johnson would give the Titans more yards... So they kept him.

That's what I don't get. What's to be afraid of? If he can't handle the workoad, move him back to his current role.
