The Dallas Cowboys finished their stay in San Antonio with a walk-through at the Alamodome on Friday morning.

For the first time, coach Wade Phillips and his staff mentioned Cincinnati, the opponent in Sunday's Hall of Fame exhibition game at Canton, Ohio. Phillips does not believe in setting game plans for exhibitions. He is more interested in watching how the club performs the fundamentals. Game-planning is for the regulat season.

Some other items of note from the day in camp:

+ Offensive tackle Alex Barron (dislocated left pinky finger) participated in practice and will be able to play against Cincinnati.
+ Wide receiver Manny Johnson should get a chance to show what he can do as a tackler. He was on the second kickoff and punt coverage teams. Johnson would be a ``gunner,'' on the outside of punt coverage. Johnson has had a good camp on the offensive side.
+ Cornerback Teddy Williams, the sprinter who has not played football since high school, is listed as Johnson's partner as a ``gunner.''
+ Phillips said the team finished this portion of camp on schedule. Red-zone offense, a weakness last season, was the most stressed element during the two-week stay.
+ David Buehler went 33-of-38 on field-goal tries during the team portion of practices in the controlled conditions of the Alamodome. Two of the misses came from more than 50 yards.

What's with everyone being hurt in all the camps this year?

Seems like every fucking day someone in all the camps gets hurt and is out for 4-6 weeks or gone for the year. I don't recall it being this bad ever.

The Broncos are the team getting it the worst.
