To the OP's post though, I really think after all those injuries that one year Steve in all his wisdom said we aren't hiring any more old players. That's even though Belichick has selectively signed vets, even some very old ones, as a key part of his team building strategy. Denver did the same and it worked.

Jerry has tried "going all in" multiple times. Most notably 2008 when he acquired RW11, Tank, Pacman, etc. Then again this season when he got Hardy.

It's not going all in thats the problem in Dallas. Jerry will spend the $. The problem is a the loser celebrity culture here that the entire organization places above fundamentals. That, and keeping a shit head coach in place so the owner doesn't have to walk on eggshells.

The Broncos were basically built on veteran FA. We are allergic to it. Jones has been burned by his own ineptitude and despite what his fan boys say, he is into avoiding veterans and spending the cash. The issue is not the fact that veterans are bad.
