David Buehler misses more field goals than he makes in rough Thursday practice

David Buehler was not pleased after making just three of his seven field goal attempts in Thursday's walkthrough. He missed to the left and right on his attempts from about 40-yards plus.
He had made 11 of 12 attempts in Oxnard in team drills. He spent time afterward with consultant Chris Boniol on the adjacent practice field and said he didn't miss.
"You never want to have an off day," Buehler said, "but luckily I have a game on Saturday to redeem myself."
Buehler has made five of six attempts in the two preseason games, missing from 49 yards against Cincinnati at the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. He gets another crack at kicking outdoors on Saturday in San Diego.
