Second round pick Sean Lee made his debut in Saturday's win.

His thoughts?

"I thought I did some good things and some bad things I need to improve on,'' said Lee, who was on the field for roughly 30 snaps. "I think I've got to get in better shape. There was a long drive there (first half) when I was huffing and puffing and had poor technique.''

The unofficial stats had Lee leading the Cowboys in tackles with eight. One of those was for a loss.

But the strained quad that forced the rookie linebacker to miss time early in camp caught up with him over the course of the game.

"I thought early in the game I was able to make some reads and get off some blocks,'' Lee said. "But like I said, as I got tired my technique deteriorated and I wasn't thinking as quickly.

"That's something I'm going to have to work on, getting in shape so I can play with that perfect technique every time. Later in the game I got too high and got driven out.''
