When training camp began, Doug Free was viewed by many outsiders as a huge question as he took over the left tackle spot from Flozell Adams.

Now as camp is coming to a close, there doesn't seem to be much worry about Free at all. The biggest concerns are the health of right tackle Marc Colombo and left guard Kyle Kosier, who are coming back from knee injuries

Free has put together a solid training camp and solid work through three preseason games that the Cowboys even more sure that he will be able to lock down Tony Romo's blindside.

"I've been fairly happy," Free said, "but there's always stuff to work on. You never want to get ahead of yourself. There's always things that need to get better on."

Free will face a test Saturday in Houston's Mario Williams , who has developed into one of the better pass rushers in the NFL. Free said he will look at some tape of Williams before the game but not as much as he would for a regular season matchup.
