Did you guys catch Rob Riggle's bit with his picks on the pregame? NFC East themed.

What really sucks about last night is that we can't really pin this loss on the O. This time the D let us down.

That's why we shouldn't let 1 game matter like last night was.

We just aren't consistent

Some weeks it's our offense that can't score then other weeks it's our defense that allows too many points

We just can't put it all together as a team

If our D stepped up like they did the two weeks prior and only held PHI to 13 points we win that game easily

Do you all realize there are only two teams that are worse than us right now?

The Lions at 1-6 and the Browns at 2-7 and they are only worse than us because they have played and lost one more game than us!!!!!!

We are at the bottom of the barrel in the NFL right now

When you are right there with the perennial bad teams such as the lions and Browns then there is something majorly wrong

The Chargers are 2-6 and the Bears are 2-5 (technically better than us with one less loss) and are playing right now

One of those teams are are going to get a win tonight and have three wins

So we will be in an even worse standing in the league

How is this in any way acceptable to JJ?

Why the fuck aren't coaches getting fired.

Look at the other teams around the league who have fired their coaches, they have better records than us and haven't even lost 6 in a row and yet our coaching staff is safe from getting fired?

That's absolute bullshit

You're just deluded. Kelly stayed very conservative because he knew we couldn't do shit on offense. His whole game plan was to avoid mistakes, and just outlast our out of shape team.

Get it through your head - this defense is FAR from good or anything close to it. When the opponent needs 20, it gets 20. When it needs 13, it gets the fucking 13. And when it needs to win a "shootout" and get 30? it fucking gets 30.

Wake the fuck up.

Rewatching the fourth quarter of the game last night.... Losing sucks and all, but what a great game that was. It had everything... big plays, critical decisions, injuries, etc. Emotional rollercoaster for fans on both sides.

For a positive... David Irving looks like a football player.
Yep appears to be a stud. They signed him though having NO idea what he could do..... of course. Squirrel and the nut thing.

Not true Dooms. Were it not for that pick 6 by Cassell, the Cowboys likely win. Can't blame that on the defense. And the Giants' game... the defense held them to 7 points I believe. Defense had nothing to do with the pick 6 and the KR TD.

Defense had everything to do with getting completely exposed in OT last night.

Shit happens, otherwise. We were gassed, because we are out of shape. Bottom line is teams can outscore us, no problem because our D is shitty.

Yeah I blame about 90% of that loss on the defense. We know we're not going to be good on offense with Romo out. But we gave up, what two 90 yard TD drives? No way that should happen. And the Eagles OL had been crap even before they lost their very good starting left tackle. No way that should happen.

Also because I don't want to start a new thread on it... What a shame about Sean Lee. He might be really close to having to retire with two concussions in a few weeks like this. He's going to go down as one of those players you used to read about who was really great but injuries just cut his career short.

Lee is going to get Aikman"d out of football this season. He will be out for two games, then come back and get one more concision and be forced to retire

Forgot to mention mid's point... Yeah, go ahead and put Wilcox on the scrap heap of failed project safeties. I don't ever remember a safety who took worse angles and got faked out of his jock more than this guy.

And pointed it out during the game, but did you guys see him returning a kickoff one kick? It was a touchback so he didn't actually return it, but what was that? Must be part of his demotion, and he did play RB in college. Makes me wonder why he was even in the game at S in overtime in the first place.
