Cowboys officials are in the process of signing wide receiver Brice Butler, multiple sources tell @TheAthleticDFW.

The team has to make a roster move to bring Butler onto the 53 and is trying to decide whom to release to make room for Butler before a final decision is made.

And he's probably kicking himself right now thinking they should have kept Bailey on the roster and he would be worth some great fortune in a trade after today.

shit, jeri never makes a trade where he wins. He's the type that any time he has something of value, all he can think about is how much more valuable "fill in the blank" will be so he cant ever make the deal

I've met the same type of folks in my real estate business, the minute you say you'll give them their price, they freak out, recoil and figure they've under priced the house, back pedal and renege, ultimately selling to no one for fear they're leaving money on the table. I hate these kind of "sellers", they're impossible to deal with.

that's why our players hang around until there's nothing left but bloody stumps, they virtually never get value for players and end up being cut
