Romo carries this teams fortune more then any other qb in the league except brady. Both teams rise and fall with their play. We saw what happened when brady slipped up last week.

Also... 5-3 with Kitna & McGee.

Just sayin...

It's so much better for an internet sports forum to be a grief recovery support group for all the pussies who can't get over a loss.

It's incredible that people would be upset even hours after surrendering another record breaking 2nd half collapse.

I didn't mention peyton because he has turkey neck and isn't playing. But yeah, he's there too.

And the only reason he has a ring is because his TEAM stepped up in the playoffs and carried him for a change.

Funny how that works.

I'm not talking about rings.

The notion that this team relies on Romo near as much as the Patriots do Brady, Colts do Manning, or hell... even the Steelers do Roethlisberger, Chargers do Rivers, etc etc is non-sense.

We saw what happened last year without Romo. A bus driver came in, and we finished 5-3 after a 1-7 start to the season.

Romo does not define this team as you suggest he does.

Well.... look at Mr. Well Adjusted Adult over here, casting judgements down on the minions from his Ivory Tower.

lol

Wut r u, peplaw, purfeck?
lol

I know, it's "normal" to have a loss ruin your week. Where do I get off?

But srsly, I said I was upset. What else do you want from me Middie? I guess I should break a few things and type in all caps so as to appear more "normal."

Matt Cassell. Byron Leftwich. Charlie Batch.

You have a point with Peyton though. That guy can't be topped as to importance to his team.

The loss isn't ruining anything for me. It frustrates me, and I'm off the Romo bandwagon, but it wasn't long after the game that I stopped being mad.

I just think it's funny that a few people complain about people being mad after a loss. Especially the WAY we lost.

Yeah, he does

Explain last year. How were we able to function as a team, let alone accumulate more wins than losses, after losing Romo. With a career journeyman as a back up, no less.

Brady, Manning and Romo are the most relied upon QBs in the NFL. Our defense is better this year, but none of these guy have had a great defense or a great running game to help them out.

Last years record without Romo means nothing. A coach was fired mid season and that sparked the team.

Every area of the team got considerably better.

Matt shitass cassel took the pats to the playoffs - that doesn't mean that the pats team philosophy isn't to completely ride brady for better or worse. And like I said, that hadn't worked for them either.

Our philosophy is the same with romo. Thats a bad thing imo, you just can't win when you put that much pressure on your qb, no matter who he is.

ok, then it sounds like we're in the same boat. Guess you're "Mr. Well Adjusted" too.

That philosophy is why the pats blew a21 pt lead to division rival buffalo, a team that hadn't beaten them in almost a decade. It's why we lost to the lions and jets.

on the opposite end teams like tenn and baltimore win because they ask their qbs to do as little as possible.

It does help to have a defense. Hard to win a shootout every week.

No he didn't.

What philosophy is that?

We throw the ball around, yeah. But that isn't tied to Romo. We threw the ball more with Kitna last year than we had with Romo the first 7 games of the year.

It's what happens when you have a former QB as a head coach.
