Year after year we hear this. Until Prescott can defeat the 49ers in the playoffs, nothing else matters. He lost to them in an ugly fashion, back-to-back. Not to mention a 3rd stringer last season.

Calm down. Ball is almost assuredly not making the team and there's little chance Farniok is starting anywhere on the OL.

If Martin doesn't report and it starts looking like he'll miss games, they'll sign a free agent before week one.
Better sign one regardless of Martins holdout. We will be wading in deep doo doo when Tyron Smith goes down. Your only hope under the current lineup is to pray Waletsco sp? turns out to be a really good tackle or move Tyler Smith back out and pray for a left guard that can handle the position. No panicking and no need to calm down… these are facts. The bottom line right now is the Achilles heel of this team is our offensive line
( if/ when we have an injury). We do not have adequate starting caliber depth on our line. I really do hope that I am wrong…. And if I am I will gladly admit it.

I'd need to see how they perform before making a statement like "they are the achilles heel of the team".

Anybody's OL could be the achilles heel of a team if key guys get hurt. Nobody has a team with 5 proven starting quality guys behind the 5 expected starters.

That said, you didn't mention Chuma Edoga who's still young and has starting experience, and he could play T or G. They are supposedly liking what they've seen so far from TJ Bass, people are pretty high on rookie Asim Richards and fellow rookie Earl Bostick got one of the highest signing bonuses as a UDFA.They also have C Alec Lindstrom back for his 2nd yr and he showed pretty well last yr in preseason.

Right now the achilles heel of the team is more likely the PK position, until they make a move. I doubt either of these guys they have in camp now is the answer and there are too many close games in the NFL to have a PK that can't at least make most of the gimmees.
