So my main take away from today is that teams will use today as an offensive blue print going forward. Get rid of the ball quick as you can to neutralize the pass rush, try and be 50/50 pass/ run to keep em off balance.
That's the basic formula for decades, against soft coverage and zones, bend but don't break risk averse shit. They didn't do anything special today. It's not like they hung a fortyburger on us.

Two last week where Gallup stopped with the ball already in the air, as Troy pointed out.

Overthrows are going to happen. Teaching the QB to throw short to wide open guys is stupid. The receiver never really knows when that is coming.

Cue this... Brady just overthrew a wide open Hogan. It's part of the GAME.

How many other coaches teach their quarterbacks to throw short to the wide open guy? NONE. Just Jason Carrot.

Big, big win for Pittsburgh, especially given what kind of shape they'd have been in with a loss.

The margin of error is far less for us than most teams because the redzone offense is so bad.

He's missed way too many downfield throws this yr for sure, but its amplified because when we do get in the redzone we don't score TD's.

Because our goal is to get to the "red area" instead of in the end zone?

My point is, Dak is in his formative years and is getting fucked up by a coach who thinks it's a good idea to throw short to open guys. Instead if letting the QB and receivers WORK ON THEIR LONG BALL TIMING. Like every other team does.

With Wetz out, I expect the Iggles to be better and probably in the NFC Championship game.

LOL wut?

The Eagles have absolutely zero shot at the championship game.

You must have drunk the whole bottle today or something.

We shall see. Defenses again have very little "book" on Foles. The decisions he makes are different, he's not what you've prepared for. He sells the play-action better and is crafty.

I see the Skins are playing the Titans next Saturday. An Eagles loss tonight, followed by the Skins on Saturday would see us as NFC East champs before stepping on the field against the Bucs.

If Dak is starting on WK 17 instead of Rush, then something went terribly wrong.

The book on Foles is he sux. He was part of the biggest fluke in the history of the NFL last yr, other than his fairy tale 2 1/2 games and that one bogus season under Chip Kelly, he flat out sux.

Foles has been better than Goff to this point by far.
