You got to feel good about the win but our pass defense is shit.

We let Preston Parker run wide open in the red zone and Eli makes a terrible throw that gets tipped and picked off. That could've been a back breaker for us.

Then later Eli complete missed a wide fucking open odb that's would've won the game for them.

They did steal it, sort of.

For most of the game, the Giants were catching lots of breaks. Almost all of the close officiating calls seemed to go the Giants way. It is tough to win when things aren't going your way.

Maybe the layoff had something to do with the slow start.

I think winning these kinds of close games in the closing minutes can help a team's overall confidence, so at least there is that. The team performed in the clutch.

I'm not so confident about the Eagles game on Thursday, but if the Cowboys manage to win that one ....

Yeah, but they never seem to mention all the times he's shit the bed - OR the many times we were down in the 4th due to his own bonehead picks and fumbles.. He gets hero credit for "comebacks" that shouldn't have been necessary. It's like with Favre - they always mention his good stats, but never mention he is also the NFL's all-time turnover King and has no fear of anyone ever coming close to unseating him.
Are you fuggin kidding me?

Youre kidding, right?

Collinsworth made probably the truest statement I've heard any talking head make as it pertains to Romo.

something like: He's tied for the most game winning drives, eventhough nobody knows it.

He's far from perfect, but he's really only played on one SB caliber team in 2007. Most seasons the team has been flawed in one or more aspects, injured or whatever.

Ive never seen the offense so balanced, the defense so okay, and the team relatively healthy. You're seeing what he can do on a balanced team. He's a great QB on par with the rest of the big guys. Manning is the only one I'd place above all of them. He's just a freak.
Thank you... It's like bizarro world when Dooms talks about Romo.

Right, always the excuses. Look, for at least a quarter of the "comebacks" Tony gets credit for, we were behind in the 4th quarter to start with, due to his own bonehead picks and/or fumbles. He gets hero credit for shit he caused, then made up for.

In the turnover department yes, he is definitely NO Favre or Eli. And I wasn't saying he is. I'm just saying the man-love for Tony is never tempered with the simple fact that he's shit the bed in the 4th almost as many times as he's pulled a win out.
Prove it.

It's gotta be trolling.

For years the team had to live and die by the pass. The team wasn't good enough. Nice pieces, but no depth or strength to compliment the stars. When you go to the well as many times as this team had to over the years, you're going to come up dry in spots. Better teams win late in the year. Balanced teams. Romo has been a great QB for probably the last 4 years. He's matured greatly and made strides every year. He's playing on one of the most balanced cowboy teams I've seen since they were winning Super Bowls.

The defense is way too flawed, IMO, but in this league if you have a great QB and your defense can keep teams under 30, you have a chance to do great things.

If this team gets a first round bye, which they will if they beat filly and Chicago, IMO, we could see them in a Super Bowl.

Hard to explain, but I like their chances more against Philly. Now, if Philly was 4-7, I'd be a little worried. Them riding high and Dirty Sanchez coming to town, I think they can handle business Thursday, fairly easily too.

Something like Dallas 33 Philly 20.

They're playing the condensed Cowboys game on NFL network at 2:30. They fit in all the action and 30 minutes

We definitely should win. I feel better about this game than the Giants one.

If we lose to Mark Sanchez when they're travelling on a short week, it's a major, major fail.
