Travis Beckam with what looks like a knee injury.

:towel

Edit: torn ACL. That ought to keep him out until just the first of the season, right?

Kind of an under the radar blow because he's an athletic TE who was starting to come into his own.

Watching JPP is making me want Nick Perry at pick 14. No USC bias either. I just want another effective pass rusher.

JPP is incredible. I thought he had huge bust potential coming into the draft. Turns out I may have been wrong.

I hope that guy ends up with a serious knee injury or something.

So you want us to switch to the 4-3 too?

I wouldn't mind it although I do prefer the 3-4.

I have no doubt Perry can play OLB in a 3-4 scheme. Monte Kiffin likes to blitz his speedy linebackers (Dion Bailey and Hayes Pullard) so he drops his defensive ends (Perry and Devon Kennard) into coverage.

Glad to see the Patriots take the lead going into the half. Hopefully they can build on it with their first possession in the 2nd.

No idiot, that's not what he said. The 4-3 is not the only system that has and requires pass rushers.

Yet there are certain types of players for each scheme. Not all college DEs are suitable to be OLBs in a 3-4. Some are strictly 4-3 DEs like JPP.

JPP could easily play 3-4 OLB.

Another college pass rusher who could make some noise in the NFL is Chandler Jones(6'5", 265).
