Now, prior to the season I put a $400 bet online that we'd win 9+ games. So if the Cowboys win, I get my money back. But that wager was so long ago, that I don't even really care. Besides, it wasn't really my money. I deposited $50, and playing poker, built a big stack, made a few wagers, and then lost it all. That one wager is the last one - and it doesn't look like a winner wither.

Anyway... I don't think we'll be able to go up to New York and match the Giants intensity or attitude.

I don't have any confidence in our defense/secondary that we'll be able to (a) get to Manning or (b) cover Cruz or Nicks.

I mean, today Vick had ALL day to throw the ball, and he routinely found guys wide open.


Don't get me wrong. I'd LOVE to go to New York and end that teams season. I'd love to go to the playoffs. And I'd love to win that bet so I can lose it all with further wagers/bad poker play.

And rest assured I'll be rooting for it.

I just don't think it'll happen.


The good news is, it means we'll likely be drafting up to 8-10 picks higher in the draft, and this team CLEARLY needs an infusion of new talent.

And it keeps us from having to play the Packers and 49'ers next year.

Me, I will just wait and watch the game. I think we have as good a chance as they do. We play well there, I dont think intensity will be an issue at all, I don't think the moment will. Be to big for them nor do I see them as gutless.

I originally predicted 8-9 wins and felt very shamefully negative for it. I felt the O-line would be a big weakness, and it has. Defense at this point has been a disappointment. I thought they would have picked up the scheme by now.

Well they are a unique team. Nobody else including the saints can threaten you on the edges or from the pocket like the eagles can. Scandrick made a great play to save that Td.

We all know the defenses limitations, it's not a surprise if the other team goes up and Down the field, to have no offense and only give up 20 wasnt a. Bad effort to me.

I the first half there were guys running wide open and McGee had no idea what he was doing.

I think we have a good chance Sunday night. I thought the defense responded well given the circumstances,I think it's a positive going into next week that they made a scheme adjustment and held their own.

I expect the same next week. They won't shut down ware Ratliff and spencer next week like they did two weeks ago. That seemed like a one time thing to me.

And most importantly, the giants will be home, favored and expected to win. That is good for us.

Today we had the third string qb and Sammy Morris at running back. I mean...what on earth would anyone expect.

Put any team in the leagues third string qb on the field today with a pair of running backs who have been on the team for two weeks and they will get pushed around also.

That pass rush is great in Philly if your losing, one dimensional and poor at qb..chances are your in trouble.

Just for fun, if not for Bruce Carters punt block that would have been the first time we would have been shutout at home since September of 91 against the eagles. The game aikman was sacked 11 times.

Yeah I think 8-8 is about right for this team... This isn't an overly talented squad. They need offensive and defensive line help along with secondary help. Why did they sign Scandrick to a long-term deal????? SMH...

Yea, but he is still the third string and he was a really green qb. It's like his second year the way they are developing him.
