Kenyon Coleman, Jay Ratliff, Matt Johnson, Phil Costa have helmets and appear to be ready to practice.

Of the three who haven't played this year (not counting Costa's 4 snaps in NY), which one will have the biggest impact going forward?

I voted Costa but really have no idea why. I'd be suprised if his back held up the rest of the year.

But I think he's slightly better than Cook.

Definitely Ratliff because he's by far the best player of those. We don't even know if the white safety can play.

I'm very happy with the job Brent has done so far, but adding Rat as an interior rusher will be big.

Like Ratliff won't run away with this thing? It's like asking if you'd rather sleep with Don Knotts or that dreamy Twilight vampire.

Matt Johnson? really?

Is this what we've come to?

Just wait til Matt Johnson and Kenyon Coleman get back. Thennnnn, we are going to beat everyone.

Holy crap.

Did I say that? Or was I merely asking which guy would have the biggest impact? I'm so confused.

Ratliff might be the best player, but Brent and Lissemore have done well in rotation in his absence. If we get 2008 or 2009 Ratliff, he cold be a game changer. But he's older now, coming off a bad ankle, and yep, still undersized. Who knows what we're going to get.

Phil Costa isn't impressive by any stretch, but I almost had to list him because really, Ryan Cook - outside of the Giants game - has been pretty bad.

And Matt Johnson, considering our safety position - what with having to move corners or play Danny McCrary back there - could end up with a decent amount of playing time.

Never asked which one would push us over the top. Just which one of the three will have the biggest impact.

Matt Johnson has to have actually played before in order to "return."

Wasn't directed at you even though you posed the poll/question.

I meant is this, as a fanbase, supposed to be what we look for hope for this season?

Ratliff, no question. We badly need the interior pass rush too.

Hopefully he is 100% or at least close.
