What happens when Jerry kicks the bucket?

Besides celebrations everywhere...

Do the remaining powers that be immediately re-tool everything like the Raiders did when Crazy Al bit it, or does everything stay the same with Stephen in Jerry's place?

In other words, do Stephen and others know big changes need to be made but they just can't do them right now? I thought it was interesting how Al's son hired a GM, even letting him fire the coach and hire a new one, almost before the body was cool.

Or will everything basically stay the same with Stephen hopefully being less of a lunatic?

Good question. Stephen has been giving a great lesson on how not to do things. I hope he's been taking notes since 1994.

Nothing will change.

Stephen will just slide over and be president. He already does all the media and served on the competition committee and is the co-gm anyway.

It will be the same.

probably with an enormous jerry statue somewhere around newly named JERRY JONES Stadium.....much like in buffalo.

he has been a part of those bad decisions. He has that same arrogance that his dad does like they know something other people do not.

except no one in the league would hire any jones family member to run anything in there front office, sans charlotte and her ability to smile and make sure eminem has access to the sidelines during warmups.

I heard the plan is to bury him under the star in the stadium.

Nothing will change. 10 years ago Stephen may have done something. Not now. He fancies himself GM Jr I think

I'm afraid you're right. I used to think SJ would make some changes, but I'm betting he likes all the power and attention he's gotten the last few years.

It might be worth it to see a 30 foot bronze of this:

I have "heard" Stephen is much more reasonable and really listens to the staff and specifically scouts. The scouts and Ciskowski supposedly try to get to Stephen early and then hope he can reign in his father. I get the feeling he will serve as Team President but will hire an actual GM. He doesn't have anywhere near the ego (who does?) his father does. I think he will desperately want to win his own championship and hopefully sees the errors of his father's ways.

I have no doubt Jerry will be enshrined instantly into the Ring of Honor and the stadium will be renamed Jerry Jones Stadium.

Everything save for his hair will start to decompose.
